Pastor Robin has been serving Lake Winola and Falls UMCs since July 2021. She is a proud Buckeye (and Ohio State football fan), although she has lived all over the world before deciding to settle down with her husband, John Sankey, in NE Pennsylvania.

She has degrees from Otterbein University (Double BAs in Political Science and History), New Mexico State University (MA in International Relations) and a PhD from Kent State University (Political Science). Robin is also a student at Wesley Theological Seminary, in Washington, D.C. Prior to becoming a local pastor, Robin worked in Washington, D.C. for many years at Sojourners magazine, The Faith & Politics Institute and the National Council of Churches.

A life-long United Methodist, she grew up singing in the choir and attending UMYF. She has worshiped in Methodist Churches around the world and finds that the moment that she walks into any one of them–it feels like home. Pastor Robin and John have 5 children and 7 grandchildren in their blended family – who live all the way from Ohio, Maryland, Virginia  and Alabama to Sweden. To contact her, call 570-392-9092 or
