PASTOR ROBIN FILLMORE

Pastor Robin has been serving Lake Winola and Falls UMCs since July 2021. She is a proud Buckeye (and Ohio State football fan), although she has lived all over the world before deciding to settle down with her husband, John Sankey, in NE Pennsylvania.

She has degrees from Otterbein University (Double BAs in Political Science and History), New Mexico State University (MA in International Relations) and a PhD from Kent State University (Political Science). Robin is also a student at Wesley Theological Seminary, in Washington, D.C. Prior to becoming a local pastor, Robin worked in Washington, D.C. for many years at Sojourners magazine, The Faith & Politics Institute and the National Council of Churches.

A life-long United Methodist, she grew up singing in the choir and attending UMYF. She has worshiped in Methodist Churches around the world and finds that the moment that she walks into any one of them–it feels like home. Pastor Robin and John have 5 children and 7 grandchildren in their blended family – who live all the way from Ohio, Maryland, Virginia  and Alabama to Sweden. To contact her, call 570-392-9092 or Pastor@LakeWinolaUMC.org.

 Lauren Miller – Youth Director

Hello! My name is Lauren Miller. I grew up going to youth group and I came to know God
during that time. I know first hand how important it is in a young person’s life to be given the
opportunity to attend youth group. They are able to build their relationship with God, dive deeper
into their faith, and find out who God has called them to be. I went to Lycoming College and
graduated with a Bachelors in religion. I have been a youth pastor for 9 years. I am so humbled
to be a vessel used by God and help guide young people into a lasting relationship with Christ.
I am married to Adam and we have two children Grant and Madeline (Maddi).

My husband is a pastor and we just moved to the area in July. I love to be outdoors, designing and
making crafts with my cricut, and spending time with my family. I am so excited to get to know
the youth and watch God at work as we start a youth ministry program together.  The best way to reach me is to email at lemiller620@gmail.com.
